Faust finds out, that Margaret is imprisoned and this
is enough for him to change back into the person he feels is himself (as a difference to the person in Walpurgis Night). The difference between the
Faust of the Walpurgis Night and the one in this scene
is huge. He does not discuss with Mephistopheles, but
he orders him what to do: Help him to free Margaret.
